Account and Data Deletion

How to request deletion

• Email [email protected] from the address registered on the account, or write to the school office.
• Give the student's or staff member's name, the class or department, and the admission or employee number if you have it.
• Say whether you want the account closed only, or the account and the records deleted.
• We will confirm within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

• The sign-in account, its password and any device identifiers or notification tokens held against it.
• Photographs and documents uploaded through the app, where the school is not required to keep them.
• Draft entries that were never submitted.

What the school must keep

A school is required to keep certain records even after a person leaves, and those we cannot delete on request.

• The academic record: admission details, attendance, examination results and transfer or leaving certificates.
• Anything the school must retain under the rules of its examination board or under Indian law.
• Where a record must be kept, the sign-in account is still closed so the record can no longer be reached through the app.

If you are a parent

A parent or guardian may make this request on behalf of their child. We will verify that the request comes from a guardian recorded against that student before acting on it.
